Another area florist was due to have her baby around the time of the wedding, and graciously entrusted me with ordering and constructing 'A's' wedding flowers - Thank you 'L'! In her folder of photos and stem counts, 'L' had a photo of the requested bridesmaid bouquet. Were those lily petals? Are they in foam? Did they use the lily foliage on the back? How will it last without water in the summer heat?
After my many trial runs (lots of adhesive and little ventilation!), I discovered the secret! With help from a dear friend on the morning of the wedding, the bouquets were assembled and turned out perfectly. Thank you, 'A' and 'L', for taking a chance on this "Basement Betty"! Your wedding will always have a special place in my heart!
